OBITUARY
When a face that was so dear no longer is here and a voice that is was loved is hushed, it seems that time went quickly and things were too rushes; but we clearly remember many quiet and wonderful hours and the joys that were shared in them all. Such was the passing of John Henry Bargeron, who was born in Sardis, Georgia on October 9, 1909. he was the son of the late Henry and Georgia Chandler Bargeron. to this union was born two children, John Henry and Janie Bargeron Lewis. John Henry's mother later remarried after the death of her husband to Yardrick Williams and from this union came nine children.
He departed this life suddenly on December 27, 1969 at his home , 942 Alexandria Street, Detroit, Michigan.
He untied with the Fellowship Baptist Church, in Burke County Georgia at an early age.
He was united in Holy Matrimony to Miss Bessie M. Mosley who proceeded him in death in October 1968. John Henry was a devoted and loving husband, father and brother who did his utmost to help others.
He leaves in remorse: one adopted Daughter, Mrs. Barbara Joe of Detroit, Michigan, six sisters: Mesdames Janie Lewis, Frankie Higgins, Bessie Griffin and Georgia Jones all of Greensboro, North Carolina, Mrs. Sally Hines of Atlanta,Georgia, and Mrs. Nannie Anderson of Washington, D.C, four brothers Willie, Thomas J., Quinnie and Yardrick Williams all of Greensboro, N.C., seven grandchildren, niece, nephews and a host of relatives and friends, and one son-in-law, Alver Joe.
