What started out as simple curiosity as to where I came from, has grown into an ongoing pursuit of knowledge and hopefully a legacy to leave for my daughters. Somehow... learning about my ancestors' lifestyles and personality traits brings them to life, as if I had known them. (not to mention teaching me about myself in the process)
I am searching (albeit... not very successfully at times) for the family names of Grimes, Mercer, Ashbourne, Moulton, et al... on my fathers'side, and the family names Blackwood, Barbour, Rowsell, Hann, et al.. on my mothers'side.
