Lois (1906-1924) was the first born child of John Wesley Mathison, Jr. and Maldra Clyde Dowling. This is her senior photo and text from the 1924 Palmer College yearbook. She would die within months from a heart condition. According to my grandfather, she graduated at home in bed with her classmates at her side.
