My great great grandfather, Henry Stanton Camp (1870-1934), operated a general store just outside of Dothan, Alabama in Houston County. This area has now been incorporated into Dothan. In this photo I am on some rural road not far from Mt. Enon Baptist church. I was told Keyton was in this area, but that I would find nothing but sparse homes or farms there now. The man I spoke with was right, my mother and I could find no trace of any old public buildings from the past.
