I connect to the Doctorman(Docthorman), Hall, and Grugett families through my husband, Dennis E. Grugett. My husband's grandmother was Bess(Bessie) Doctorman and she married a Charles Hall. They had three daughters...listed below. *1. Helen Marie Hall married Orvin Grugett. They had Jerry, Betty, Dennis, and Theresa. Dennis married me...Barbara J. Edwards.
*2. Mary Hall married Jack Myrick.
*3. Velma(Thelma) Hall. I have no information on this daughter.
Bess Doctorman Hall had a sister by the name of Katie Doctorman and she married a Loy Hall--no relation to Charles as far as I know. I would like any information on Katie or any of the Doctorman family.
Bess and Katie Doctorman's father was Eddie B. Doctorman. Info on him would be greatly appreciated. Their mother was Mary Keeton. Info needed on her as well.
*John Doctorman b. abt 1807 probably PA d. abt 1850 Jeffersonville, IN. m. Elizabeth Lawrence(widow) b. abt 1800 NY
*Fredrich Doctorman b.? d.? he may be John's father but I am not sure. May have came to this country from Rotterdam in the late 1700s. There are accounts of him possibly coming from Germany as well. At this time I am leaning more toward the Rotterdam account.
*ANY INFO ON THE DOCTORMAN(DOCTHORMAN), HALL, AND GRUGETT LINES WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.*
