This Grubbs Family Tree goes back to George Conrad Grubbs who was born in 1771 and died in 1853. He was married to Elizabeth Hartman and had one son, Jesse R. Grubbs who was born in 1824 in North Carolina.

Jesse Grubbs married Sophia Ann Smith in 1852. Their children were James Franklin, Enoch Conrad, William Andrew, Rosey M., Nancy, John Mattison and George M. Grubbs.

James Franklin married Mary E. Dugger May 9, 1871. Their children were George Madison, William Andrew, Mary Louisa and Jessie Enoch Grubbs. On December 31st, 1879 James married Amanda Jane Snow Edwards. Their children were name unknown, Edward Smith, Eli Vickson, Nancy Barella, Thomas Wesley, James Leslie, Arthur Nolan, Harrison Dudley, Mollie Kate and Virginia Taylor Grubbs.

George Madison Grubbs, son of James and Mary, was born October 4,1876 and was married to Maud Lindsey Girdler, who was the daughter of William and Margarette Girdler. Both Maud and George (Matt) are buried in Hustonville, Ky. George Madison and Maud had one son, Ollie Carpenter, born October 14th, 1905.

Ollie married Mary Ruth Nafe, daughter of Frank Nafe and Mollie Cole. Their children include Margaret Ruth, Twin sons (miscarriege) and Glen Alan Grubbs.

Glen married Carryl Jean Mofford, daughter of Joseph Mofford and Vera (Helen) Langenbahn. Their children include Robin Lee, Ravin Lynn, Alan McClaine, John Madison and Pamela Jean Grubbs.
