The Robert L. Grunert / Doris M. Spinner Family Home Page

Searching for information on the Grunert family surname. Specifically, the Grunerts who settled the western prairie of Canada. We're looking for emmigration and immigration data.
Additionally, we are researching the connection between the Grunerts of Tennessee and of northern New York with the Grunerts from western Canada.

The Canadian Grunerts settled in eastern Saskatchewan around the town of Yorkton about 1850 or so. I have no data on their European places of origin but am told that they are generally German, possibly Bavarian.

I would be willing to share whatever information I have with you.
