They both have the same last name [ Guarnieri ] but have no direct relation to each other. Some sources suggest they may have been first couzins \\
From the information we have so far, Albert & Rosa were born in a farming community in Neirone,Prov.Di.Genoa, Italy It is believed that this community was mostly Guarnieri's, with Paul [ Paulo , John [ Giovanni ], and Albert [ Alberto-Bartholomew ] being some of the more popular names.\
The name Guarnieri was as popular in Italy as Smith & Jones are in the U.S.A., In the Italian tradition most marriages were pre-planned ahead of time, Most children were promised to a spouse when they were born, In Italian tradition the first born males were named after the father, And the first born Females after the mother. Thus the reason for so many people with the same names...
Upon arrival to the U.S.A. and migration to Detroit Michigan, Rosa was to have married Albert's younger brother to whom she was promsed to. We don't know his name or how he died, it is said that he was a building sculpture in the city of Detroit Michigan . Without a husband Rosa would have to go back to Italy. So Albert being single and not promised to anyone, and the next of kin in line took the honor and married Rosa,,,,\\
They were married in Detroit Michigan, U.S.A. on April 11th 1903.
