2. MARY² ZDROJEWSKA (JOHANN¹ ZDROJEWSKI) was born Abt. 1872 in Lemberg, Strassburg County, West Prussia now Lembarg, (Brodnica) Bydgoszcz, Poland, and died Abt. March 1957 in North Judson, Starke County, IN. She married JOSEPH SHEWSKI June 27, 1893 in Cook County, IL. He was born March 19, 1852 in Warsaw, Poland, and died September 11, 1952 in North Judson, Starke County, IN.

Joseph and Mary (Zdrojewska) Shewski owned a tavern on Clybourn Street in Chicago in the early 1900's. They then purchased the Shewki Farm in Knox, Indiana. It was 160 acres and connected with Bass Lake. Besides their main commercial growing, they also grew grapes which Joseph made his own wine out of. They already owned the farm in 1923 when I came into the picture. This information was submitted as told by Mary (Folenga) Shewski, daugher-in-law.

LADISLAVA "VIRGINIA" REGINA² ZDROJEWSKA (JOHANN¹ ZDROJEWSKI) was born March 22, 1864 in Lemberg, Strassburg County, West Prussia now Lembarg, (Brodnica) Bydgoszcz Poland, and died December 19, 1939 in Chicago, Cook County, IL. She married (1) FELIX WROBLESKI. She married (2) PETER KACZYNSKI July 17, 1888 in St. Adalberts Church, Chicago, lL, son of UNKNOWN KACZYNSKI. He was born February 21, 1843 in Poznan (Posen) Poland, and died December 12, 1902 in Chicago, Cook County, IL.

Virginia (Mladislave) is buried in St. Adalbert's and is listed as the owner of Lot no. 47 Block M Section 3 where 9 family members are buried.

Marriage Notes for LADISLAVA ZDROJEWSKA and FELIX WROBLESKI:
Felix had a mentally challenged daughter by the name of Martha from a previous marriage when he married Virginia. Virginia took care of her and then when Virginia died, Josephine (Gunda) took her in and she stayed with her until Martha's death on May 26, 1945. She is buried in St. Adalbert's Cemetery in Niles, IL between Josephine (Kaczynski) Bonea and Felix Wrobleski in the Wrobleski Plot. Lot no. 47 Block M Section 3.

Bessie's birth certificate lists Peter as a cabinetmaker.
