My grandparents were active in the Slovenian Community in Cleveland, Ohio. In the mid and late 1930's my grandmother was a member of the Slovenska Zenska Zveza (SZZ) referred to in english as the Slovenian Women's Union. My grandmother Theresa (Dremptetic) Gubanc is the 2nd row up, 4th woman in from the left (wearing her pearls).
