There appears to be three great branches of the Guice/guise family. It is possible That Claude Guise was the father of Christopher and wilhelm as well as Peter or is it possible that Claude, Christopher and Wilhelm were siblings.
CLAUDE GUISE: (bn cc 1700 in Strasbourg, Alsace - dd cc 1762 in New Jersey had a son named Peter (see report)

CHRISTOPHER GUISE: (bn July 7th 1718 dd cc1792+) md. Margaret Plowhead They had thirteen children

PETER GUISE: (bn 1775, dd 1782) Father of Phillip Guise (Bn 1755)
and grandfather of Peter Guise/guice (bn 1788)who settled in what is now called Henderson County, NC.

WILHELM GUISE: Very little is known of Wilhelm or his descendants. He is listed in a naturalization petition by the Royal Colony of New Jersey dated July 8th 1730.
