I am researching the Schmitt (Francis Frank Schmidt) family from Mannheim, Germany (Badden County). Francis (Frank) Schmitt was born Jan. 26, 1857 in Germany and died Aug. 24, 1922 in Rawlins County Kansas. In addition, I'm researching the Joseph Makings (spelled Makins in England). He was born April 1, 1827 in Brant Broughton Lincolnshire England. His father was Robert Makins born 1787 and mother Ann Pilgrim born about 1795. Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have.
