McCutcheon's of WV and Hamiltons of OH

I've been researching the McCutcheon family from Wirt County WV. I have a pretty good start but can always use more information. My great grand father was Thomas Sermon McCutcheon, the information about him and his children comes from his children. I'd like to go back in time for more information on his family, dates, places, etc.

I'm also researching the Hamilton Family from Ashland Ohio. My grandfather was Weldon Roy Hamilton. I've obtained most of the information in that family from census documents but have reached a wall with Thomas Hamilton. All help is welcome.
