Here are the family names I am researching, and the dates I have found so far:
LANGSDORF - DEU ->Danvers,MN -> Cudahy,WI 1900-now. I am looking for info about Anton Langsdorf and his wife Katherine Mattheisen, whose children lived in Danvers in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Their son John married Alice Duffy. I have an extensive history on their descendants, but am continally trying to fill in the missing bits. NOTE: My cousins are publishing a book about our ancestry; please contact me if you're interested in obtaining a copy.
DUFFY - Danvers,MN 1879-1928. The Duffy and McGuire families intermarried in Rhode Island after immigrating from Ireland via Scotland. Then they relocated to Minnesota. Alice's parents were John Duffy and Catherine McGuire.
KLEINEIDER - Ripon,WI 1870-now. I'm looking for info on all the Kleineiders, as this is a rare name and it seems all of them in the US come from this one family. They were from Poland (Prussia).
MLODZIK - POL(Dzwierszno Wielkie, Poland)-> Princeton,WI 1842-now. I have a complete descendant list for the 1st 3 generations in the US for the Joseph Mlodzik/Mary Rutkowski family. I'm also seeking the descendants of Joseph's brother Felix Mlodzik. Note that there is another Mlodzik "tribe" based out of the northern Milwaukee area, and I am in contact with their family historian as well. We are fairly certain they are related to us.
RUTKOWSKI - POZ/POL -> Princeton,WI 1845-1865. Siblings Mary Rutkowski and Jacob Rutkowski.
PAYNE or PAINE - Freetown,BristolCo, MA ->Caroline,TompkinsCo,NY -> WoodCo,WI 1660-now. I am especially interested in the ancestors of Silas A. Payne, born in Factoryville,Tompkins Co., NY in 1837. Son of Edward Paine, son of Israel Paine, prob. son of Joseph Paine, son of Ralph Pain, b. 1660, raised his family in Freetown, Bristol Co., MA.
ARMSTRONG - TiogaCo,NY 1800-1855. Sophia Armstrong m. Edward Paine. Diantha Armstrong m. Ezra Newkirk. David Armstrong m. Sylvia Lyon. I'm avidly seeking their ancestry.
STEWART - Scotland or Ireland -> Massachusetts. Daniel Stewart was b. 1636 in Ireland or Scotland, or possibly Massachusetts. Two of his great-granddaughters married brothers in the Paine family.
DUVE - Johann Duve, b. 1831 in Mecklenburg DEU, father of Lena Sophia Duve, 1872-1924, Milwaukee and Wood Counties, Wisconsin. I'm trying to find the rest of her family and ancestors. She married Elmer A. Payne.
CAREY - Ireland->Massachusetts->Joliet,IL->WoodCo,WI 1814-1864. John Carey and Johanna Morarity moved to the US in about 1834, and I have a strong history on them and their descendants but not their history in Ireland -- yet.
MORARITY - Ireland->Massachusetts->Joliet,IL->WoodCo,WI 1820-1840
MARCINKOWSKI (MARTINKOSKI) - Poland->GogebicCo,MI->MilwaukeeCo, WI 1874-now. Stanislaw Marcinkowski married Sophie Szczepecka in 1900, shortly after Sophie's arrival in America. I'd like to research them back in their Polish roots.
SZCZEPECKI (SZCZEPECKA) - POZ/POL->GogebicCo,MI->MilwaukeeCo,WI 1882-1900
CIESLINSKI (CIESLINSKA) - POZ/POL->GogebicCo,MI->MilwaukeeCo,WI 1855-1933. Marya Cieslinska Szczepecka was Sophie's mother.
