[Notes: Based upon the 1836 birthdate of Margarette E. Bertrand, it is possible that this could be the same woman as she would have been ~34 in 1870. As Wyatt M. Durham died in 1864, this could be a second marriage to another Durham. The children Lou & Roberta would have to be issue from her first marriage and the daughter Margarett E Durham issue from her second marriage. The only known issue from her marriage with Wyatt are James Wyatt Durham who would have been about 17 years old in 1870 and is not listed anywhere in the 1870 census and Dewit Durham who died at 14 days of age. The woman married to R.W. Durham is listed as being born in TN, but Margarette E. Bertrand is listed as being born in France. Further research is required to determine whether this is the same woman. See Wyatt's first cousin Robert W. Durham for possibility.]
[Follow-up to above (12-26-98) A Robert W. Durham married a Margaret E. Allen in Sumner County on 7 Dec 1853. Now doubtful that the above is Margarette Bertrand Durham.]
