My mother and father were born and raised in Bulacan, Philippines. My father (de Guzman) was born and raised in Malolos. My mother (Gutierrez)was born and raised in Pulilan. My father graduated as an architect from UST. My mother graduated as a surgical nurse from UP. My sister graduated as an accountant from UST. I graduated as a teacher from Maryknoll. I started the very first Montessori Elementary Program in the Calgary Public Board of Education in Alberta, Canada in 2000-2001. My youngest brother graduated as an aeronautical engineer from PATS. My eldest brother is a computer expert. His eldest daughter graduated as a chemical engineer from UP. His younger daughter graduated as a computer analyst from UST. I migrated to Ontario,Canada in 1982. My sister migrated to Ohio, USA in 1982. My father migrated to Washington State, USA in 1986. My mother, my brothers, my sister in law who is a medical doctor from UP/UST and her two daughters are in the Philippines. One of them graduated as a chemical engineer from UP. The other daughter graduated as a computer analyst from UST. The older one works as a Japanese translator. The younger one works for Hewlett Packard Computer Company. I have first cousins from my father side living in Vancouver, BC, Canada, in Guelph, Ontario and in Calgary, Alberta. I have first cousins from my mother side living in California. One of them is a dentist. I also have first cousins living in Sydney, Australia. I have other relations living in different parts of the USA. My husband's relations (Shaw)originally came from Ireland. He was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. He has Irish, British, French, German, Dutch ancestry in his family. My older daughter is at present the fourth best dog handler in Northwestern Ontario Region in Canada. My younger daughter placed seventh out of 200 entrants in a contest sponsored by Lakehead Modelling in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Both of my daughters won awards in Art in Calgary, Alberta and in Ontario. My younger daughter is going to Lakehead University to take Education courses so she can become a teacher in Canada. My husband has experiences in construction(building and road), mechanics, innovation/invention, logging and farming.
