I'm researching the ancestors of John Peter HAAS, born about 1731 and his wife Margaret Elisabetha GAURER. The early generations lived in Reading, Shamokin, and Sunbury, PA. In the 1840's many migrated to Newtown, IN and Rossville, IL. From there they went to Kansas, Colorado, and California.
