So far we have accumulated record of around 100 members of our family. Some date back to the 17th century, and may be of interest to family. Each had their own walk of life, ranging from Indian tribesman, pioneer and soldier to some royal connection. Some were ministers, and farmers and more. Some lived long hard lives and some not so long.

For the what it's worth deparment, reviewing our history, I'm reminded life is short and has struggles. A favorite psalm, Psalm 90:10
"The days of our years are three score and ten and if reason of strength they be fourscore years; Yet is their pride but labor and sorrow; For it is soon gone, and we fly away."
But the Scriptures do offer encouragment as Psalm 90:12 continues: "Teach us to number our days, That we may get us a heart of wisdom."
We are still researching a number of family names: Haas, Moad, Painter, Gjertson, and Mudick.
Also we would offer any family what information we have.
