The John Haase Home Page

I am researching the Haase family. My Grandfather, Friedrich Haase, was born May 22, 1850 in Mecklenberg, Schwerin, Germany. On October 21, 1873, He married Caroline Carls, who was born February 12, 1855 in Mecklenberg.
They arrived in New York on November 4, 1873 and lived most of their years in Beloit Wisconsin. They had ten sons and daughters. He died there January 20, 1926 and she passed away
January 20, 1927.

In addition, I am researching my other grandfather John Winfield
Scott, Who also lived most of his life in Wisconsin. He was born
June 9, 1863 and married Sarah Hummel on November 4, 1884. She was born March 8, 1863. They had eight sons and daughters. She passed away about 1930 and he died July 25, 1940, both in Beloit, Wisconsin. At present we are attempting to verify that his father, John Scott, was killed at Gettysburg during the Civil War.

Would appreciate any assistance in finding additional ancestors
in the Haase and Scott family trees.
