Searching for information related to great-grandfather, Martin Haselhorst; his wife, Anna Brockelman; their children, Anton (married to ? and had two boys and two girls); Stephen (have all of this information); Gertrude married to a man named Morgan and had one girl and four boys and lived in the St. Louis area; Martin and Mary never married. From St. Louis arrival in 1852 from ? Martin married Anna mid-1850-1857 ?, moved to St. Libory, St. Clair County, Illinois. Martin was a tailor by trade and made predominately men's trousers. First children born there ?. Eventually ended up in St. Rose, Clinton County, Illinois where remaining children were born ?. Martin died in St. Rose in 1907; Anna in St. Rose in 1913. Their son, Stephen married Marie Deimeke (b. September 16, 1862 to Anton Deimeke and Theresa Potthost). in St. Rose, Illinois. Half of Stephen/Marie's children remained in Clinton County, Illinois, remainder migrated to Kansas (Ellis, Russell, Trego Counties) in early 1900's-1925 era. |
