| Searching for HARNESS (Hardy Co., VA/WV), DEVLIN (NY), FULLERTON (KS), McCORMICK (NY), MACKAY (NY), HACKMAN (NY). I am researching the Michael Harness who lived at Harness Fort on the South Branch in Hardy Co., WV. He married Elizabeth Dieffenbach (some say his wife's name was Elizabeth Westfall). They originated from Holland, and moved to WV from PA. The Fullertons, decended from James Alexander Fullerton (b. abt 1746) who moved here from Belfast, Ireland, landing in Philadelphia. He married a Mary Sharp. One son was Adam Fullerton married to Hannah Luckey. The McCormick's of mine came from Ireland. They are John McCormick who married Letitia M. Devlin. The MacKay's are David MacKay from Ireland who married Elizabeth Marshall Ross. Their daughter Davina MacKay married William Hackman (b. 1883 in Birkenhead, Eng. Any information is greatly appreciated. |
