[From original will] On 4 February, 1716/17, "Edward Mitchel of Bridgwater .... Gentelman" made his will. Bequests were as follows:
To "my Son Edward my homestead wheron now 1 dwell with all my houseing and out houseing being about Seven Score Acres be it more or less by the known bounds of it" also "a tract of Land Lying on the Easterly Side of a Swamp being part of the swamp Called by the name of Center Swamp being about thirty & five acres more or less as also two Lots each Containing twenty acres more or less lying in a place Called Johns bridge neck"
To "my daughter Mary a parcel of Land Lying on the Easterly Side of nathanil Howards part of which being the house and homestead that formerly belonged to Samuel howard being in the whole about fifty acres more or less according unto the known bounds thereof"
To "my daughter Alce a certain tract or parcel of Land Lying near to a pond Called Setuckit pond not- far from where the Indians now dwell being about an hundred acres of the same more or less"
"my will is that if Either of these my three Children Should be taken away by Death before they arrive to lawfull age or are married that then their part be divided Equaly between the Surviving Children"
To "wife Alce (whom I Constitute .... Sole Executrix of this my last will ....) Several parcels of Land .... the one of them being the Second lot in the third devision being thirty acres more or less the other being twenty acres more or less lying near to the lands of mr Hersy of abbingtown the other being twenty acres Lying upon a plain Called Jonathans plane". Mariner and Lydia Cushman Wife of sd Elkanah," for £105, 10s., "old Tenour Bills", sold to "Nathll Bradford of Plymouth aforesd Housewright .... All the Right .... We have of and in any Part or Parcell of ye real Estate of Mr David Bradford late of Kingston .... deceased & of Jonathan Bradford late of Plymouth .... deceased, Either in Possession or Reversion".
The witnesses were Michael Burn and James Hovey. The deed was acknowledged, 26 April, 1742, by Elkanah Cushman and Lydia Cushman, before Samuel Bartlett, Justice of the Peace, and was recorded, 5 May, 1742

Deceasd," for £70, "old Tenour to Us in hand paid," sold to "Nathaniel Bradford of Kingston .... Housewright .... All our Right .... in the House at Kingston aforesd which my Wife Elisabeth bought of Caleb Stetson of sd Kingston. And also the Right of Dower my sd Wife hath or might have in sd David Bradfords Estate Or any Right She hath to the Estate that belonged to Jonathan Bradford & Lemuel Bradford who are Deceasd Or any Right or Claims of any Part of that Estate that belonged to my sd Wife's first Husbands Estate Either Real or Personal or to the Estate of the aforesd Jonathan & Lemuel and do by these fully Discharge the sd Nathaniel of any Demands Rents or Profits arising therefrom".
