I have been doing research on the family tree for over twenty years. At this point I am in serious searching mode for some people who have been hiding from me. Georgia Cornelia Worster was the first wife of James Wesley Stonehouse. She had two daughters: Ruth Stonehouse, silent film star, and my husband's grandmother, Hazel. She seems to have died soon after this, so somewhere between 1894 and 1900. She was born in Keokuck, Iowa. The girls seemed to have corresponded with someone named Taunta, which means aunt in German, who could have been Mrs. John Stevens. But WHO is Mrs. John Stevens!!!! The Haegers came from Germany. The death certificate for Frank Charles Haeger says Kovanz, but where is Kovanz?
Other people we are looking for are: John George Bouras, Greece, Theodora Matulewicz, Lithuania, William Irwin, Kentucky, and Mary Jane Ravenscroft, West Virgiania.
