The Hoeflein/Sheedy/Haflin Family Home Page

I am researching the Hoeflein / Sheedy / Haflin family. When the name Hoeflein was changed to Haflin I do not know. It was probably in the early part of the century. Early records indicate the Hoeflein family to be from Honesdale, Pa. The Haflin family were and are in the Jersey City, N.J. area. My grandmother, Margaret Sheedy was born in 1866 in the Loughren Mountains, the Woodford District, County Galway in Ireland. My grandfather, William J. Hoeflein was born in 1860, son of Vincent and Eva Barbara Lutz Hoeflein.
