The Belanger family emigrated from Canada in the mid-1800's to the area around Bourbonnais, Illinois. They later moved to Chebanse, Illinois. This was a large family and other surnames that appear are as follows: Barceleau, Brenneisen, Brousseau, Duby, Endres, Gagnon, Hannah, Koser, Martinson, Meade, Menard, Scott, and Vaillencourt. |
