| Erik Olsson Hagström and Karin Persdotter Eklund were married April 17, 1876 in Söderala, Gävleborgs län, Sweden. Because of them, their marriage, and their children most of the "leafs" in this family tree exist! Unfortunately neither one lived long enough to see how their family would bloom and grow!
In 1987, Alan Hagstrom (grandson of Per Johan [Edward John] Hagstrom) did a fine job of compiling our Hagström family History without the help fo a computer. It is now 2007 and I have contacted Alan, and with his blessing, have added to what he started. Work like this is done in an effort to further document the life and times of those that have come before us so that those that come after us will have a sense of the great Swedish / American legacy we all share. This is a work in progress, after all family trees continue to grow. Changes occur constantly. If you have any information you would like added, if you find errors please let me know and I will make the corrections.
It is my hope that because of this huge, healthy family tree we will never forget our rich heritage. our ancestors worked hard and made many sacrifices - life was very difficult compared to ours. We live in much easier times - and like them we hope that future generations will have even better times.
As I created this site, I am the only one that can make additions/corrections, so please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with any and all information you may have on the Hagström family.
Please allow me a little time as this is a "hobby" that I love, but I do have other obligations. Have fun and enjoy!
