* HONEYMAN/ Fife. & Dundee and CORMACK/Aberdeenshire*

Updated August 18, 2006

My HONEYMAN ancestors are originally from Fifeshire, Scotland and later moved to Dundee, Scotland. I have traced my line back to John Honeyman b. c.1630 whose children were born in Kirkcaldy. From that time family members were born mostly in Leuchars and Logie, then started spreading out just a little to Balmerino, Kilmany, Monimail, and in the early 1800's my line moved to Dundee;

My CORMACK ancestors are from Aberdeenshire, Scotland. I have traced my line back to Ellon in the year 1683 where Alexander Cormack was born. From then until the early 1800's the family was born in Whinnyfold (Finneyfold), Old Castle, Slains, Cruden. In the early 1800's my line of Cormacks moved to Peterhead, ABD.
