| Welcome to the Winslow, McLaughlin, Wixom, DeClerck, Verhaeghe, Hagberg Page. WINSLOW-MCLAUGHLIN-WIXOM LINE: We are trying to find information on David McLaughlin and Mary Winslow. They were married in Salem, Mass, on April 7, 1808. David was born on April 4, 1785, and Mary was born July 23, 1784, in Falmouth, ME. We are looking for information on their parents. Mary was an orphan and raised by the Rooles (or Rose or Roole) family. Mary's father was Samuel (b.Sept. 15, 1739). DECLERCK-VERHAEGHE-ROBAEYS LINES: These lines came from Flanders, Belgium. They lived in the Clerken (Klercken), Paaschendale, Zarren area. This area is just north of the French boarder. THORNBLOOM-WERELIUS-ANDREASSON-HAGBERG-JOHANSSON AND PETERSON LINES: These lines came from Sweden. The Thornbloom is their name taken in the USA. In Sweden, The Werelius-Andreasson line were from central Sweden or the Karlskoga area. The Hagberg-Johansson line were from western side or the Gothenburg-Falkenberg area. The Peterson line came from the eastern side near Orland. We now have addition information on the following lines at our Web site.
