My father was raised in the Chautauqua County, Kansas area and my mother's side settled in Montgomery County, Kansas. The names that I am searching for, which traveled from Indiana are: MILLS, LITTELL, PETERSON, GLENN, McAFEE, BREWSTER, HURT, SWEARINGEN, SWALLEY or STWALLEY, GARR, GREER, KERLIN, BANTA, PARKHURST and PETREE. All of these families had arrived in Kansas by the year 1880. My family has lived in and around this area since this time.
I have just started researching my husband's side of the family and have some information for him. His surnames are HAGERMAN, HEYEN, EIDSON, CAMPBELL & McNERNEY.
