Larry Hagen Family - Dixon, IL - Gilbert, Waite, Greenawalt

This project can be attributed to my mother Lillie Waite Hagen. She was a family history "book". I never thought for a minute that I would get interested in something like this.

I've found a 4th cousin in Sedalia, MO from the Gilbert side and she and I are now on a mission to identify John Gilbert born around 1809 in Pennsylvania. He married Susan Toms and their children included Daniel and Abraham. John and Susan lived in Washington County, Maryland near the Antietam Battlefield and left there in 1864 for Illinois due to the ravages of war.

I'll also gladly share what information I have.
