My heritage consists of many family names: Burgess, Bride, Mehan, Strawbridge, Scripture, Shipley, Beeney.... The Bride family hails from southern Illinois in the late 1800s. The Burgess family can be traced back to Macclesfield England and also came to southern Illinois. The Hage family emigrated from Norway to Chicago in the mid-1800s. Any assistance that could help extend my understanding of my heritage would be greatly appreciated.
