TO MY FAMILY

This is a labor of love...a continuous work in progress...
After the death of my beloved father, William Hensley Harmon, I needed a way to honor and memorialize him.
I thought of all the other wonderful family members I knew, loved and lost. I decided then that they too, deserved to be honored & memorialized.
I then decided I would research my family history & find other family members, gone before us, who were responsible for our very existance.
Then, I realized, in doing my research, I was introducing my children and grandchildren, in a sense, to all the people who made our family what it is today. Though they may not be as interested and excited about genealogy today as I am, maybe one day when I'm gone, they'll find the comfort and sense of family belonging that I have found in my research. Almost as comforting as the hugs I once knew...and still miss...
So this site is dedicated to everyone who shares or shared my life, my love, my blood....TO MY FAMILY
