36. Baker and Carmony, Indiana Place Names, "The village of Forest was platted in 1874. It was named for the extensive timber here. Frankfort is the county seat of Clinton County. It was laid out in 1830 and named for Frankfort-am-Main in Germany, which was the home of the Pence brothers who owned the land where the city was located. Michigantown (township?) in Clinton County, Indiana was founded in 1830. It was named for "Michigan Road" that passes through it. For a time, Michigan Road was the most important north-south highway in Indiana.
37. newspaper, Kennewick, WA, Obituaries, Nov. 4, 1951, "Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Halliday, 82, of 205 West Entiat St., Kennewick, who passed away Thursday at Our Lady of Lourdes hospital in Pasco after an illness of several weeks, will be held Monday at 12:30 p.m. at the Mueller Funeral Home in Kennewick. Mrs. Mathilda Jones, Christian Science reader, will officiate at services. Interment will be in the family lot in Riverview Heights cemetery, Kennewick. Mrs. Halliday was born February 23, 1869 at Yreka, Calif. She left Yreka with her parents at the age of 12 and settled on a farm near Moscow, Idaho, where she attended school and grew to womanhood. On Aug. 21, 1888 she married Andrew E. Halliday at Troy, Idaho, where trhey resided until 1912 when they moved to Kennewick. Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Audrey M. Altrogge of Kennewick; one son, Irl A. Halliday of Alma, Nebraska; two sisters, Mrs. Annie L. Hinckley of Kennewick and Mrs. Dora A. Hinckley in California; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren."
