Hello! I am Linda Moore Hallman. I am a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the United Daughters of the Confederacy. For those of you seeking information to qualify joining these orginizations or verifying your soldier's family information, I can assist researching or site visits in my geographic location. I charge a small fee to cover the expenses.
My husband, Ed is a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans here in Upson County, Georgia.

I am researching the surname of Freels, Hall, Hendrix, Julian, Long, Moore, Scott and Webb families of Morgan County, Tennessee. I am also compiling the genealogies of the Arrington, Turner families of Burke, Jefferson and Washington Counties, Georgia and the Bruce family of Jackson County, Alabama.

We are doing research on confederate and union soldiers buried in the State of Georgia. This project includes all soldiers involved in the Civil War and entails identifying and verifying unknown soldiers.

My husband is researching the Davenport, Goss, Hall and Hallman families of Webster, Stewart and Terrell Counties, Georgia. He is also researching the Hill, Jones, Lane, Rice, Thigpen and Wiley families of Early, Miller, Seminole and Washingtion Counties, Georgia.

In addition to these areas, we are compiling a data base which includes marrriage, will abstracts, cemetery and obituary records of Bibb, Monroe and Upson counties, Georgia and surrounding areas.

Note: Ed can be contacted at ehallman@alltel.net.
