FRANCES CATHERINE¹⁰ JONES (WILSON MCKINNEY⁹, EDMOND⁸, ELIZABETH⁷ POOLE, JOHN⁶ PETTYPOOLE/POOLE, SETH⁵ PETTYPOOLE, WILLIAM⁴, WILLIAM³, SAMUEL², WILLIAM¹) was born May 21, 1847 in Cleveland County, N.C., and died June 01, 1943 in Cleveland County, N.C.. She married JOHN WILLIS JONES, son of Willis Jones and Nancy Horn.

Obituary:
Funeral rites for Mrs. J.W. Jones, 96, who died at the home of a son, Monroe Jones, in Lattimore Tuesday afternoon at 4:45, will be held Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock at Double Springs church with the Rev. J.W. Suttle officiating, assisted by Rev. C.C. Crow. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
A native of the Lattimore community, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Jones of that section and was one of the oldest members of the Double Springs Church. She had been in ill health for several years but was taken seriously ill about three weeks ago. Her husband, John Willis Jones died about 8 years ago.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Sam Lovelaceof Race Path, Mrs Winslow Barnett of Shelby and Mrs. C.O. Lee of Double Springs; three sons, Monroe Jones of Lattimore, Charlie Jones of Swainsville, and L.C. Jones of Double Springs; 41 grandchildren and 57 gr grandchildren.
