|This is an on-going research into the BROWNELL family. I started out with the intent of researching just my direct line but then my interest grew into researching the whole family. Yes, it is a major task and one I have taken on with love and an undying curiosity.
These BROWNELL's are originally from England but their migration has spread throughout the North American continent. Their appearance in the United States began in 1635 with the original emigrant, THOMAS BROWNELL. From then we have spread out into the New England States, Canada, the Mid West, and the Pacific States. Basically there is a BROWNELL in just about every state in the United States and all the Provinces of Canada.
I have not excluded the allied families but I am currently focusing on the BROWNELL's. I am gaining a stronger interest in the allied families as I find their surnames popping up at different times
If I have made any errors please contact me so that I may correct them. I am willing to share and exchange. Please feel free to contact me for any reason.
I would like to thank all of you that have sent me information on some of the Brownell and allied family branches. There are so many of you that I would need a seperate report to list all of you and your contributions. You are all wonderful people and I appreciate all you have done in your research efforts.
