| Hello my name is Rodney Ray (Rod) Hampton and I am looking for information on the Cordery, Roberts, Hampton, Eason and White family lines. I am haveing a hard time locating information on William E. Hampton, so if anyone has any information on him, I would like to hear from you. I up date this site when I find or recive new information or corrected information. If you are working any of these lines and see wrong or missing information please send me the right information so I can have the most up to date information. On my fathers side of the family is Thomas Cordery and his wife Susannah Sonicooie, a full blood Cherokee of the blind Savannah Clin. My Grand father (John William Hampton's) mother was a bab in arms on the trail of tears, and her name was Nancy (Nannie) Cordey. NEWS on 4/26/2005 I reciverd information from Terry & Terri Roberts. Terry is the son of J.D. Roberts, and J.D. was the son of James A. Roberts the brother of my grandmother. In the last two years I have meet over 50 new relatives by atttended two family reunion and a birthday party. On my mothers side is William Eason born abt. 1650 in Virginia. My Grandfather on my Mothers (Emma Aylean White) side was James Washington White born in Prioscott Arkanasa on Aug. 22, 1871. He married my grandmother Katie Bell Eason on Dec. 14, 1898 in Guernsey, Arkanasa, she was born on May 17, 1878 in Selma Alabama. My grandfather James Washington White had half brothers by the name of Stringfellow. Surnames are Hampton, Roberts, White, Eason, Cordery, Scott, Rumsower, Herley, Moore, Horton, Roberts, King, Pierce and Vickery.
