2. REV. MILES M.2 ROBERTS (WILLIAM1) was born 1811 in North Carolina., and died June 27, 1887 in Age 76 5 months 16 days Lumpkin County, Georgia.. He married (1) SARAH JONES Abt. 1835 in Lumpkin, County, Georgia., daughter of JOHN JONES and LETTICE MELTON. She was born May 09, 1814 in North Carolina., and died September 18, 1881 in Age 67 4 months 9 days. He married (2) LOUIZA ANN CHAMBERS August 27, 1883 in Cool Spring, Hall Co, GA. She died July 15, 1893 in Lumplin County, GA.

EV. MILES M. ROBERTS:
Between 1839 - 1857, lived in Youngcane District, Union Co, GA. Miles owned land lots # 20 and 21 (7th district) in Union Co., GA: 1849-1855 tax list. Between 1857 - 1887, lived in the area of Two Runs just North of Dahlonega, Lumpkin Co, GA. 2nd Capt. in GA Militia, Youncane 1014 GMD 1849. Member of the Blue Mountain Lodge (Masons). Ordained minister in the Chattahoochee Baptist Assoc. He was associated with several Churches in Lumpkin County, including Phillippi, Hightower, Mt. Zion and Pleasant Hill. Wrote his last will and testament on May 2, 1884, which indicated that he owned 4 land lots near Two Run (1147, 1148,1156 & 1157) in the 11th District of Lumpkin Co. Applied for pension from Florida War. The burial place of Miles is unknown, however since he was a member of the Blue Ridge Mason Lodge and they performed honors at his funeral, it is possible that he is buried at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Dahlonega, GA. Another possibility is that he is buried at the Mt. Pleasant Ch. Cem. near his home on Two Run, since he was Minister of this church at the time of his death.
