2147. William Talmadge HAMILTON Jr. (photo) was born on 22 Feb 1954 in Elk Lick, Morehead, Kentucky. He has reference number 1. "Bill" attended gradeschool at Upper Tygart, High School at Olive Hill and was
in the first graduating class of West Carter High School in 1972. He attended
Morehead State University graduating with a bachalors degree in
Sociology(Social Work) Minor in Military Science. He was commissioned as a
Second Lieutenant in the Armor Branch. He spent 2 years active duty. He was
stationed at Fort Knox, KY, Fort Riley Kansas, and Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He returned home from active duty and spent 14 years in the USAR where he advanced in rank to
Captain. He trained on the M-1 Abrams Battle Tank before transferring to the
Inactive Reserves in 1990. Bill continued his graduate education, completing
a Masters degree in Sociology(Gerontology), Masters Adult Continuing
Education(Guidance Counseling), Masters Higher Education(Guidance Counseling). He completed his Masters In Social Work Degree from the University of Kentucky in December, 1998. Bill served as a State Social Worker, working in adult and child protection, in
Rowan, Montgomery, and Lewis Counties. Bill served in the Boyscouts of America were he was scoutmaster for Morehead's Troop 58.

He was married to Catherine Sue KNIPP on 30 Nov 1974 in Pleasant Hill, Carter County, Olive Hill, Kentucky. Catherine Sue KNIPP (photo) was born on 8 Apr 1955 in Stovall Hospital, Grayson, Carter Co., Kentucky. Catherine is the youngest child of Joseph Estill Knipp and Rebecca Opal Knipp
who trace their lineage back to Varner Knipp of Greene County Tennessee.
Catherine Attended Shellrock Elementry, Grahn Elementry, and Graduated from
West Carter County Highschool in 1973. Sue was employed by Bishop Drugstore, and Wise Fashions. Sue devoted her life to her family. She takes pride in her children and family and was always there for them when they had problems. William Talmadge HAMILTON Jr. and Catherine Sue KNIPP had the following children:

child2398 i. William Joseph HAMILTON (photo) was born on 10 Jul 1977 in Ft. Sill, Comanche Co., Lawton, Oklahoma. William Joseph (Billy Joe) was born while his father was stationed at Fort Sill
Oklahoma. He was born in an army hospital. Billy Joe attended Tilden Hogge
Elementry school, Morehead Middle School, and graduated from Rowan County Sr.
Highschool as the Valedictorian of his class. He graduated with a 4.160 Grade
Point Average. He won scholarships to Morehead State University and a $20000
annual scholarship to Pepperdine University. He chose to attend Morehead on
full scholarship. Billy Joe graduated summa cum Laude with a BA degree. He had double major of English and French with a minor in Speech. He was recognized as the most outstanding student in French and in the Department of English, and foreign languages. He was recognized by the MSU Alumni Association as outstanding future alumni. During the Summer of 1997, Billy Joe lived in France. Billy Joe was babtized into the Word Of Life Church. Clearfield Ky and is enjoying teaching sunday school and jail ministry.
child2399 ii. Susan Nichole HAMILTON (photo) was born on 27 Jun 1980 in Morehead, Kentucky. Nichole's Grandfather William T. Hamilton Sr. joked with her mother when she
was pregnant with Nichole, "It is your turn to have a redhead girl as every
Hamilton generation has before." She had a big head of red hair at birth.
Nichole had a friendly outgoing personality. She is very smart and although
she makes excellent grades states she has a life unlike her older brother.
Nichole is the family clown liking to keep everyone laughing. Nichole attended
school Tilden Hogge Elementry, Morehead Middle School andNichole graduated from Rowan County Senior Highschool in 1998 with High Distinction and with the Commonwealth Deploma. She attends Morehead State University on scholarship. She is majoring in education. Nichole took piano lessons and plays very well. She
performed at her niece's wedding and at the Junior Miss Pageant(1997). Nichole
played on a basketball team, intermural.
child2400 iii. Kayla Dawn HAMILTON (photo) was born on 9 Aug 1983 in Morehead, Kentucky. Kayla is usually quiet and reserved. She is an excellent student. She
attended school at Tilden Hogge Elementry and Morehead Grade School. As of
1-1-98 she is a freshman at Rowan County Senior Highschool. Kayla enjoys
talking to her friends on the phone.
