2145. Carlotta Gail LOVELY (photo) was born on 9 Mar 1949 in Triplett, Morehead, Rowan Co., Kentucky. Carlotta Gail attended grade school at Upper Tygart Elementry, where she was a cheerleader during her 7th and 8th grade year. Carlotta graduated from Olive Hill Highschool , Olive Hill, KY. During the summers, Carlotta worked at James's Restuarant in Olive Hill. She married Paul Tackett and moved to Pana, Illl. Carlotta began raising a family in Pana. While there, she entered a singing contest and won. She began as the Female vocalist for the Illinois Country Opry. Her music career was then launched. Carlotta routinely won the Female vocalist of the year award. Carlotta loved singing her favorite star's songs, Loretta Lynn. Her Eastern Kentucky accent enabled her to sound much like her favorite star. She developed many fans and they in turn started the Carlotta Gail Fan Club. Carlotta was invited back to Olive Hill to provide shows with Olive Hill's hometown star Tom T. Hall. She was able to meet and sing with many famous country music singers to include, Loretta Lynn, Kitty Wells, Jim Ed Brown & Helen Cornelius amoung a few. Carlotta routinely set up a booth for her fans and fanfair in Nashville. She became personally acquainted with Loretta Lynn.
Carlotta starred as the female vocalist for Branson shows such as the Baldknobbers and the Ozark Country Jubilee. She traveled all over the country performing with these shows as well as performing in Branson. Carlotta was recognized as the top female vocalist of the year in Branson for many years. Carlotta formed her own band and performed with them all over the country. Carlotta's stage personality is her real life personality. She is very likeable, outgoing and loves to talk and meet others. Carlotta continues to live in Branson and still sings when she wants.

She was married to Paul TACKETT on 12 Dec 1967 in Fairfield, Wayne Co., Illinois. She was divorced from Paul TACKETT. Paul TACKETT was born on 22 Sep 1944 in Olive Hill, Kentucky. Carlotta Gail LOVELY and Paul TACKETT had the following children:

She was married to Dr. Dan STIBICH on 28 Dec 1998 in Branson Mo..
