I have consolidated several Trees that have been submitted to Family Tree Maker and my family tree has gone from a twig to a forest of over 16,000 individual leaves. I greatly appreciate those who went before me and hope that they will find some information that I have provided that they were missing. I am still trying to trace my family tree and as you can see from the tree that I have there are some differences from the different sources I have. I have information going back to Henry George Hanawalt and Cathrine Elizabeth Laman. There are still many bare spots on my tree and hopefully with the approach of spring some more buds will appear. If you have any information please contact me and we can compare notes. I hope to be able to trace my family back into Germany. Please contact me if you have any information or even if you are just located somewhere in a branch of my family. I am fairly new to this type of research and could use any help you may be willing to offer or any advice on where to look next. I look forward to hearing from other Hanawalt's. |
