Hi,
I am currently working on my mother's Family Tree which has been traced back to Gert Hanson Syre who was born on the Island of Karmoy in Norway in 1625. We have a fair amount of detail beginning with Johanna Marie Sandhaaland. She was the mother of Elias O. Hoines who was my Grandfather, born in 1862.
