* Fardon Genealogy Home Page - Alan & Julie Harmer*

Updated October 11, 2009

We are researching the Fardon Family, and originally started on the Gloucestershire, England, branch. The Gloucestershire Fardon Family appears to have been centred around Temple Guiting and Guiting Power, in Gloucestershire, England. The earliest record appears to be a John Fardon who, as a Constable and along with others, swore allegiance to the King at Hayles, Winchcombe, Gloucestershire, England in 1715, and it is very likely that he is linked to the Deddington, Oxford, England, family.
We are attempting to build a complete Family Tree of the Fardons and have welcomed contributions from people over the world. The data within this site is constantly being added and enhanced and we hope it will help any Fardons researching their respective families, as our intention is to make the information available to all Fardons everywhere.
We would welcome any information to help in our research and will be happy to provided any information we can on related families. We are especially interested in the links with the Fardons in Australia and also those in the USA.
Some other information can be gleaned from our HomePage at http://www.aharmer.co.uk/. Also there is an Online Book of The Fardon Family at http://www.aharmer.co.uk/glosfardons/, giving a narrative account of the Fardons who came from Temple Guiting in Gloucestershire, England.
To enable this tree to be loaded to this site, and keep the total number of individuals under 2000, Fardons born after 1990 have not been included.
