| William HARWOOD b-cir 1773, England-Where was he born? Married to Mary Butcher in 1798 in Littleport, Cambridgeshire, England.My HARWOOD family immigrated to the US from Littleport in about 1881. Other relatives such as the COPSEY family came over about 10 years earlier-some HARWOOD members came later, all from England. The HARWOOD, COPSEY, and possibly WALKER families lived in Michigan and Ohio. The DASKE family immigrated to the US in the 1870s from Stolp, Prussia and settled in the Toledo, Ohio area and later in nearby Michigan. Some members changed their name to DASK. My wife's BLODGETT family's exact immigration date is still unsettled. We have good information regarding Ephraim BLODGETT to the present. He was born in NH abt 1816, settled in Waterford, VT, and married Louisa KIDDER who was reportedly from New Ipswich, NH.
