Soon after our first child was born I began to wonder about all the people that had to come together to make our little miracle happen. I talked to Paul about it and he told me his great grandfather had been born in Ireland.When I talked to my Mom ,she told me that one of her Grandfathers had come from Scotland and her Grandmother had come from Ireland.That done it!! I had been bitten by the genealogy Bug hard! Our little miracle is over 40 and I'm still going strong.Our family now contains over a thousand names. Here is a few of them. ** Bohn, Boxa, Deeds, Driscoll, Dunn, Godden, Harney, Harrold, Holliday, Huffman, Hummer, Jesperson, Leslie, Mangan, Miller, Nash, Neilson,Obernour, Peterson, Price, Roit, Shima, Smith, Switzer,Villhauer, Wahl, Web, Worrell.** Most our family settled in Iowa or Illinois after they immigrated. They came from Bohemia, Germany, England, Ireland,and Scotland to name just a few. Even though I've been at this a long time, I still have a long way to go and I'd appreciate any help I can get.
