| Hello and welcome. My name is Brian J. Harrison and I am researching my family's roots. I have only started recently, but I seem to be doing fairly well on my own, however, i have recently stalled and I need your HELP! My grandfather, John M. Harrison was born, married to Dona Kramer, and raised 7 sons in Ashland, WI, including my father, Thomas Kramer Harrison. John's father was John James Harrison. John J. was probably born in Ashland, WI as well. He married Elisabeth Nemec but died in November, 1918, 3 months before my grandfather was born. John J. Harrison's father was Micheal John Harrison, who I believe was born in New York in 1854, the son of an Irish immigrant, Patrick Harrison (b.@1815 in Ireland. Micheal married Mary Elizabeth Keefe (O'Keefe, or Keeffe?) in Minneapolis, MN and had 9 children, 2 of which were male, George Edward and my great-grandfather John J. The girls each went on to marry into other familes such as: Knudsen, Dayton, Scharding, Doody, Sederholm, Hansman, and McAndrews. Most of them have continued to live in Wisconsin to this date.
