NOTE from CSH - there are two different families for Solomon Somverville, 1880 census shows him with a wife (Estrella 16, and a daughter -- ___ age __This seems young for the wife to be the mother of the child, it could be the wife is 26 rather than 16, if so, this would make sense.
A second set of information comes from the person noted below. The similarity is the age of Solomon and the Township (Judkins) is the sameThe family line is VERY DIFFERENT

Hello Charles:
Perhaps I can assist you.I have been combing the 1900 Warren, NC census records in search of an in-law ancestor, Nathaniel Somerville who married Ann Boyd.I have not been able to locate Nathaniel's parents. He was born 1883 and therefore should be residing in his parents home by the 1900 census. In 1910 Nathaniel is residing in Judkins with his wife; in 1920 and 1930 he and his wife are residing in Sixpound.I have noted my findings thus far and share them below along with some thoughts and theories as to possible slave owner(s).Understand that this data does not include a review of all the townships in Warren; just those were I had knowledge of Somerville families residing.I have been in correspondence with another Somerville researcher ([email protected]
The 1880 census is available free online and searchable. The url is: http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/frameset_search.asp?PAGE=census/search_census.aspPerhaps this will help you to find more links to your family.
I am interested in your surname, Harris. My primary bloodline from Warren is Harris. Is your Harris line from Warren too?I have successfully identified the slave owner for this line and am willing to share and discuss information.
