| Both Bridget (Delia) LYNCH and Patrick MARTIN were from Co. Galway, Ireland. They were both born in the 1860's and came to the US about 1882 and married in Pittsburgh, PA in 1888. Delia was the daughter of Mary JOYCE (daughter of Mary NEE and John JOYCE) and Martin LYNCH. They lived in Clifden, Co. Galway. Delia had three siblings: Honor (Nora), John, and Mary. Mary married John GIBBONS in Pittsburgh in 1890. We have no information on Nora or John. Patrick was from the family known as "The Martin's of Ross" in Co Galway. He had brothers John, James, Anthony, and a sister Bridget. Patrick and Delia had three living children, Mary Margaret, James Joseph, and Alice Frances. My grandfather was James Joseph. He was born and died in Pittsburgh.
