Notes for Sarah Ann Smith:
It is said that Sarah and Laban were married in 1848 and had a child, Margaret in 1849. However, in the 1850 Marion County Census, Sarah is living with her father James D. Smith and his second wife, Celia and still bears the maiden name of Smith. There is no record of a one year old child with her and Laban is no where to be found.
