"McLaughlin's in South Alabama."Updated January 15, 2004 | |
| Edward McLauchlin began my family line in America when he came here from Scotland. He was born in 1777, and was married to Elizabeth McDonald. Their son John McLauchlin born 1809, in South Carolina, married Elizabeth Russell. John Edward McLaughlin was born to them. He married twice, first to Sarah Hall, then to Ro Eva Smith. To John Edward and Sarah was born George Albert McLaughlin who married Sallie Wright. Their son was Mitford George McLaughlin. He married Addie Louise Hutchinson. They had two children, one of which is my mother Dorothy Evelyn McLaughlin. She married my father Coleman S. Crocker. I married Doyle Harvison, and we have two children, Justin & Cierra Harvison. I am looking for information on Edward McLauchlin's family in Scotland before 1777. If anyone has any information to share please send me an e-mail. |
